Downtowns
& Small Towns Update
|
VISIT FLORIDA, the state's official source for travel planning,
continues to support the growth of downtowns and small towns and the
promotion of vibrant downtowns and small towns throughout the state.
Florida's downtowns and small towns provide the authenticity and
uniqueness that cultural heritage travelers want. They are the portal to
Florida's rich cultural, heritage, multi-cultural, natural and
architectural assets. They are "where the locals go."
The 2009 Downtowns and Small Towns Forum was canceled due to
extremely low registrations. This year VISIT FLORIDA is partnering with
the Florida Main Street Association and the Florida Redevelopment
Association to provide sessions at their conferences. These
organizations have similar missions as the Downtowns and Small Towns
Forum --- the promotion and revitalization of downtowns and small towns.
Below please visit these association websites to find out more about
their conference and how to register.
