SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER
VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing corporation for the State of Florida, has an opening for a Social Community Manager. This key team member will manage the day-to-day operations of VISIT FLORIDA’s social media efforts, develop and steward online relationships with constituents, and help grow Florida’s digital brand presence. The ideal candidate must be passionate about creating and managing communities from nuts to bolts and have an extensive knowledge of social media best practices. This person will be a key contributor in building a genuine community around Florida travel and our brands. This direct marketer leverages proven tactics and innovative new approaches to drive valuable and sizable traffic to our digital properties. The ideal candidate would possess a four year degree in web marketing, communications or related field and a minimum three years of experience in consumer marketing or digital media. The candidate joins VISIT FLORIDA at an especially exciting time, as we launch new consumer products and enhance existing ones, all relying on a large, quality audience. Beyond satisfying the skill and experience requirements, the perfect candidate will be intellectually curious, fun, flexible and able to adapt on the run.
