Committee Position: Chair of Marketing Council
Frank Belzer is a sales and international business development expert based in Orlando. He currently serves on the advisory board of Miami based Simple Night, a technology company serving tourism, hospitality and attractions. He is also on the advisory board or Applied Silver, a biotech company focused on sports, healthcare and hospitality.
Most recently he was the SVP of Sales for Universal Parks and Resorts during a time of unprecedented growth from 2014 until the end of 2020. He oversaw all domestic and international sales strategies. His oversight at Universal included managing all trade partner relationships, development of unique programs for youth, military and other specialized groups, supervision of the Orlando call center and all in market Universal desks at the hotels and the Universal Parks and Vacations Travel Company.
Prior to joining Universal, Frank was the VP of Corporate Training at Kurlan and Associates and as such developed and trained some progressive and fast growth companies in the technology, biotech and media space. He worked within the Inbound Marketing community and worked as an advisor to Hubspot, the fastest growing company since Salesforce. It was primarily this work that led to his book Sales Shift –how inbound marketing has turned sales upside down making it more difficult and more lucrative at the same time. He continues to be a featured speaker and panelist at conferences and trade shows around the world.
