Submit a Press Release
On VISIT FLORIDA’s Media Relations Site, media can access the latest information on industry announcements, research and more. Partners who would like the opportunity to be featured should email their press releases to pr@VISITFLORIDA.org. If your press release is selected, it will be placed in the “Industry Press Releases” section and the PR team will email you a link.
In addition to posting Partner releases, VISIT FLORIDA writes and publishes press releases for the domestic and international markets that align with our editorial calendar. If you have relevant information on the topics found in our editorial calendar below, please submit it as an attachment to pr@VISITFLORIDA.org.
Host a Group FAM or Individual Press Trip
VISIT FLORIDA's PR Department is always working with media and influencers to encourage coverage of Florida and increase mentions of our Partners. We believe that when time and assistance is invested to bring media to the Sunshine State for editorial research, valuable, personal stories about Florida and our Partners are produced. VISIT FLORIDA uses this form to vet media and influencers before presenting opportunities to Partners.
If your destination is interested in hosting a group familiarization (FAM) trip or an individual press trip for journalists and social media influencers, fill out the online form and select the markets you are interested in hosting. Attend a Media Reception/Mission
Each year, VISIT FLORIDA hosts media receptions and missions in both the domestic and international markets. Partners can learn more about these programs by visiting the marketing planning here and selecting “Public Relations” under Program Types.
