Kara Lundgren is a seasoned hospitality executive with more than 30 years of experience leading boutique, lifestyle, and branded hotel operations throughout South Florida. She currently serves as Area General Manager for MIA Hospitality Management, overseeing Courtyard by Marriott Coconut Grove and Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami, where she focuses on operational excellence, revenue growth, guest satisfaction, team development, and strategic market positioning.

Her leadership background includes roles with Trust Hospitality, Economos Properties, and several boutique and resort properties across Florida, including Amara Cay Resort, Circ Hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites Islamorada, and Cambria Fort Lauderdale Beach. Known for her hands-on leadership style and creative approach to hospitality, Kara has consistently elevated hotel performance and strengthened guest loyalty.

An active leader within the South Florida hospitality community, Kara has served with organizations including VISIT FLORIDA, the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University.
