Adam Babington serves as the Vice President, External Affairs for the Walt Disney World Resort, where he is responsible for state and local government relations, industry relations, and corporate social responsibility. He led Disney’s external affairs efforts during the successful passage of Constitutional Amendment 3 in 2018, the creation of the Walt Disney World license plate, which has generated millions of dollars for Make-A-Wish, and through the reopening of Walt Disney World during Covid-19.
Prior to joining Walt Disney World in 2011, he was the Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Adam led the Chamber’s 20-member lobby team, was responsible for the development and passage of its annual Florida Business Agenda, and coordinated the Chamber’s efforts relating to statewide constitutional amendments.
Adam received his law degree from the University of Florida, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University. He is a member of The Florida Bar, is a graduate of College Leadership Florida, Class V, and is a member of Leadership Orlando, Class 82. He serves on the boards of Visit Orlando, the Florida Retail Federation, Conservation Florida, the WorldOrlando Advisory Council, and is the current chairman of the National Entrepreneur Center.
